Reno Omokri, Onoh hail Tinubu over Bianca Ojukwu’s appointment as minister

Dr. Josef Onoh, former campaign spokesman for President Bola Tinubu in the South East, and Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, have both expressed their admiration for President Tinubu’s appointment of Iyom Bianca Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. In separate statements on Wednesday, both men congratulated Ojukwu, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain and daughter of the late Chief C.C. Onoh, former Governor of Old Anambra State.
Dr. Onoh, who is also Bianca’s younger brother, emphasized her appointment as a significant achievement for the Onoh family. He reflected on their late parents’ pride in her accomplishments and highlighted her resilience in upholding the legacy of her late husband, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu. “My sister has shown remarkable strength and dedication. This well-deserved appointment will ensure that her husband’s legacy continues. I wish her a successful tenure as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,” he stated.
Reno Omokri took to social media to celebrate Bianca’s new role, describing it as a “round peg in a round hole.” He commended her elegance and dedication to enhancing Nigeria’s foreign relations. “Congratulations, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu. President Tinubu has made a perfect choice. You embody the class and dignity needed to elevate Nigeria’s foreign affairs,” he wrote. Omokri expressed confidence in her ability to excel in this important position and wished her the best in this new chapter of her career.
With strong endorsements from influential figures, Bianca Ojukwu’s appointment is seen as a strategic move that not only honors her family’s legacy but also strengthens Nigeria’s representation on the global stage.
