Lady allegedly murder while visiting male friend in Abuja

Tragedy struck in Abuja as Priscilla Ocheme, a 24-year-old woman, was allegedly murdered by her former schoolmate from Madonna University, identified simply as Omoba. The incident, which occurred in Lugbe, has sent shockwaves through the community, with the victim’s family now accusing the police of conspiring to release the suspect without due process.
Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu brought the case to public attention via X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, revealing that Priscilla’s family reached out to him for help. According to Gwamnishu, the suspect was set free before an autopsy could be conducted, leaving the victim’s body languishing in the mortuary. The family is seeking justice and fears a cover-up as the investigation stalls.
“The family of Priscilla Ochemeh is calling for justice, alleging that police negligence and potential foul play have led to the premature release of the suspect,” Gwamnishu stated. He urged Abuja residents and the general public to tag authorities and share the story widely to prevent it from being swept under the rug.
As the news spreads, outrage is building over the handling of the case, with growing calls for the police to provide transparency and ensure a fair investigation. The public, alongside the victim’s family, demands justice for Priscilla, whose tragic death remains unresolved.
