DNA Test Needed for Mohbad’s Son Before Singer’s Burial – Father Insists
Joseph Aloba, father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, insists on a DNA test for his grandson before the singer’s burial.
Mohbad’s body was exhumed for autopsy after his controversial death, but the autopsy result couldn’t determine the cause of death.
In an interview with TVC, Mr. Aloba stated he won’t release Mohbad’s body for burial until a DNA test is done on his grandson, Liam, to confirm his paternity.
“I’m doubting the paternity of Mohbad’s son also,” he said, citing his daughter-in-law’s prolonged absences from home.
Responding to allegations of trying to inherit Mohbad’s properties, Aloba clarified, “When Mohbad was alive, we were friends. If he buys clothes for himself, he would also buy for me.
Since his death, I have never gone to his house… Some people misinterpret things; whenever they see me with a shirt, they say it is Mohbad’s. Is it compulsory that it must be from my son?”
