Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has died in a helicopter crash at the age of 63. CNN confirmed the tragic news, citing reports from Iranian media.

The crash also claimed the lives of Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and seven others. Earlier, it was reported that the helicopter, carrying Raisi on a visit to a northern region, made a hard landing, leaving his condition initially unknown.
