Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, a figure often sparking controversy from her time on Big Brother Naija, recently expressed her stance against the idea of women solely being full-time housewives.

In the latest installment of her podcast, ‘Doyin’s Corner,’ she emphasized the potential risks married women face by relying solely on their spouses for financial support.

“Opting to be a full-time housewife without any personal savings is one of the riskiest choices one can make after marriage,” she remarked.

Doyin elaborated, stating, “I firmly oppose the notion of anyone becoming a full housewife. It’s too precarious, inviting unnecessary disrespect and derogation. Even if I were married to the wealthiest individual, I would never solely embrace the role of a homemaker; I would always ensure I have a business or some form of financial independence.
