Abducted students of Confluence University, Osara rescued
The abducted students of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State, have been liberated from the grips of terror. The daring rescue, executed by a coalition of vigilant security forces, comes as a beacon of hope amidst dark times.
Snatched away while preparing for their exams, these brave students faced unimaginable fear until Governor Ododo’s promise of their safe return spurred action. Within hours of his visit to the campus, a display of unparalleled courage by our security agents shattered the kidnappers’ hold.
Kingsley Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, expressed profound gratitude for the relentless efforts of those who risked everything to ensure the students’ freedom. Their unwavering resolve confronted the perpetrators with a force they couldn’t reckon with, forcing them to relinquish their captives.
While the Kogi State Police Command remains silent on the matter, the resounding echo of triumph rings loud and clear across the nation. Today, we celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, courage over cowardice, and the indomitable spirit of Confluence University.
