Nollywood’s Jr Pope Burial Date Revealed– Family releases Date

The tragic capsizing of a boat in the Anam River has left Nollywood reeling, claiming the lives of five talented souls, including beloved actor Junior Pope. Now, as the industry and fans alike come together to bid farewell, details of Junior Pope’s funeral arrangements have been revealed by his grieving family.

From solemn requiem masses to heartfelt tributes, the journey to honor Junior Pope’s legacy is set to begin. On April 23, a poignant requiem mass was held at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State. But the remembrance doesn’t end there.

On May 13, Christ the King Catholic Parish in G.R.A., Enugu, will open its doors for another solemn gathering, offering a chance for colleagues and loved ones to pay their respects. Then, on May 14, the evening will be aglow with tributes and candlelight at the Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu, a fitting tribute to a shining star lost too soon.

As the community gathers to remember, a wake will be held on May 16 at Junior Pope’s country home in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, setting the stage for the final farewell. On May 17, Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Ukehe will host a burial mass, followed by interment at his beloved country home.

But amidst the tears, there’s gratitude. On May 20, Saint Peter’s Catholic Church will echo with thanksgiving, a celebration of Junior Pope’s life and the memories he leaves behind.
