Angry Mob Kills Alleged Kidnapper in Street Justice In Edo
In a shocking turn of events, the small community of Agbado in Edo State erupted into chaos as enraged youths took justice into their own hands, killing a suspected kidnapper identified only as Biakewe. The victim, accused of preying on market women, met a grim fate at the hands of the furious mob.
Reports indicate that the suspect was targeted by community youths who had been tirelessly pursuing a syndicate responsible for terrorizing market women on their way to trade. The tension reached its breaking point when the youths intercepted Biakewe and two others, suspected to be part of the kidnapping gang.
The Edo State Police Command, through its spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the incident, detailing the daring confrontation between the community and the alleged criminals. Despite police intervention, Biakewe succumbed to his injuries before he could receive medical attention, adding a tragic twist to an already volatile situation.
