Ramadan: Politician Shot Dead During Prayer, Family Abducted by Bandits

In a harrowing incident unfolding in Mairuwa village, Faskari, Katsina State, the echoes of terror resound as bandits unleash havoc during sacred Ramadan prayers. Alhaji Lado, a prominent figure, fell victim to their brutality as he bravely resisted their commands, paying the ultimate price for his defiance.

Eyewitnesses recount the chilling scene as worshippers were thrown into chaos, with bandits seizing control of the village mosque on Saturday night. Alhaji Lado’s refusal to yield to their demands cost him his life, leaving behind a shattered community and grieving loved ones.

Amidst the chaos, the bandits didn’t stop at violence. They callously abducted Alhaji Lado’s wife and two daughters, leaving anguish in their wake. Even those dedicated to healing weren’t spared, as a health worker known as Sani fell victim to the merciless onslaught, further deepening the sense of loss.
