During an exclusive interview with Hits Radio, Sheeran couldn’t help but express his admiration for Rihanna’s boundary-breaking talent, hailing her as the ultimate muse for songwriters. “Rihanna is genre-less, she can do anything. She’s the grail for songwriters. When I wrote Shape Of You, the person I was writing in my mind for was Rihanna,” Sheeran confessed.
