Wife Sued of Secretly Fathering Children with Another Man

Mr. Desmond Igbo, a plumber, appeared before a Customary Court in Jikwoyi, FCT, on Tuesday, bringing his wife, Rosemary, to face accusations of bearing two children fathered by another man.

In his divorce petition, Mr. Igbo, who resides within the court’s jurisdiction, disclosed his wife’s alleged infidelity, stating that she admitted to him that only their second child was biologically his.

“For 13 years, I have cared for these children, believing they were mine,” he lamented. “Discovering otherwise has shattered me, prompting my decision to seek a divorce.”

He further cited lack of love and understanding in their marriage.

Rosemary, a businesswoman, refuted the claims.

Presiding judge Thelma Baba urged the couple to consider reconciliation and scheduled the next hearing for March 25 for a possible settlement report.
