Igbo-Biafra Nationalists Demand Redrawing of Biafra Map

Published

In a bold move towards self-determination, the Igbo-Biafra Nationalists Movement, led by Mazi Uche Mefor, shakes the ground with a call for the revision of the Biafra map. Speaking exclusively to Vanguard, Mefor revealed the urgent need to redraw boundaries amidst mounting pressure from other regions.

Highlighting the challenges faced by the Southeast, Mefor emphasized the importance of respecting the autonomy of each component state within the Biafra framework. He stressed that cooperation should stem from willingness, not coercion, proposing an ‘alliance of the willing.’

As tensions escalate and alliances shift, the call for redrawing the Biafra map gains momentum. Mefor urged for a fair plebiscite to determine the fate of displaced Igbo communities, signaling a pivotal moment in the quest for self-determination.
