Imaobong Sampson and her boyfriend, Beltus Ebong, found themselves in cuffs after attempting to deceive authorities in Mbierebe Obio village, Ibesikpo Asutan Area. The pair allegedly staged their own abduction, sending shockwaves through the community.

According to Police Public Relations Officer, Odiko Macdon, the duo’s scheme involved a demand for a staggering N4 million ransom from Imaobong’s family. However, their grand plan unraveled swiftly as law enforcement swiftly intervened.
