Campus Tragedy: Ondo Varsity Student Kills Female Colleague Over iPhone

In a tragic turn of events that sent shockwaves through the Adekunle Ajasin University community, a promising final year student, Olubodun Sanni, stands accused of a heinous crime.

Sanni allegedly ended the life of his fellow student, Miss Adekunle Adebisi Ifeoluwa, over the possession of an iPhone XR. The incident, which occurred in Akungba, Ondo state, left the campus reeling with disbelief as details of the gruesome crime emerged.

According to reports, Ifeoluwa, a diligent 300-level student in the Department of Economics, was discovered lifeless in her rented one-room apartment outside the campus premises.

Ondo Police Commissioner, Abayomi Peter Oladipo, revealed that the suspect, Sanni, who resided in the same hostel as the victim, purportedly stabbed Ifeoluwa to death before absconding with her smartphone.
