Police Force Bans 2024’s Trendy Slogan ‘No Dey Gree for Anybody,’

Nigeria kicked off the year with a bang, as the catchy phrase “No Dey Gree For Anybody” dominated social media chatter. From Twitter to Instagram, the slogan became the talk of the town, endorsed by A-list celebrities like Tiwa Savage, Tunde Ednut, and Teni Makanaki.

However, the party might be over sooner than expected, as the Nigerian Police issues a stern warning against the rampant use of the popular slogan. In a recent statement, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Police Public Relations Officer, revealed concerns that the innocent saying had taken a dangerous turn.

According to ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, what started as a harmless expression has been hijacked by individuals with ulterior motives. The police are now set to clamp down on the slogan, citing potential threats to the nation’s well-being.
