Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Lagos, Nigeria, offering some flexibility for remote work. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company and ensuring that it achieves its financial objectives.
The role will involve managing staff, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, developing and implementing strategies for growth, and maintaining relationships with clients and partners.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced travel agency or similar industry
- Degree in Travel and Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong financial and budgeting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and manage teams
- Knowledge of current industry trends and regulations
- Ability to think strategically and develop and implement successful business plans
- Experience in market research and analysis
- Experience in negotiating with clients and partners
- Experience in developing and maintaining partnerships with vendors and suppliers
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
